Celebrating the Impact of Women in Payments/Fintech

Happy International Women’s Day! 🥳💫

Reflecting on my recent experience at the Women in Payments conference, I was moved by the impact women have on shaping the Payments and fintech industries.

Among the many inspiring women, Martha Dali Mghendi-Fisher, a social entrepreneur from Taita, Kenya, stood out. Leading the European Women Payments Network, she exudes empowerment and innovation, embodying the soul of our industry. Equally impressive is Swati Bhargava, from Ambala, India, who has forged her path as the co-founder of Cash-pro, India’s premier Cashback & Coupons app. And let’s not forget trailblazers like Alicia Vivanco, a Peruvian entrepreneur and co-founder of Holos, a Mexican startup pioneering immersive training experiences for businesses through virtual and augmented reality technologies. Their stories underscore the transformative power of women in shaping our future.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, let’s honor the diverse narratives of women in the workplace. Each woman, from immigrant voices offering fresh perspectives to leaders redefining corporate norms, has a powerful testimony to share.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge the remarkable women I have the privilege of collaborating with daily. Together, we contribute to the tapestry of forging new paths, breaking barriers, and reshaping industries with unwavering resilience and creativity. Let’s continue to uplift and support each other as we strive for greater representation and recognition. #womeninpayments
